Buying with your own eyes
Most of what is in the studio began as a stone that one of us could not leave behind, from Paraiba tourmaline and padparadscha sapphire to black opal, and many more besides. Some were bought years ago and kept for the right piece and person.
You look at them side by side and choose. Then the design follows the stone: its colour decides the metal, its shape decides the setting, and how you live decides the rest.
Made to wear
A piece you buy for yourself gets worn. We design for that: settings that protect the stone and profiles that sit comfortably. If a stone is too soft for a ring, we will tell you and suggest where it belongs.
Every piece leaves with a written description of its stones and metals, and can be brought back to us for cleaning and servicing once a year.

Yes, that is the point. We put several side by side on the design table so you can compare with your own eyes.
Bring it in. Stones from a trip, an inheritance or an old piece can be set into a new design, and we will tell you honestly what the stone is and how best to showcase it in a piece.
Often. Tell us what you are after and we will look, through the stones in our collection and through the reliable sources we have worked with for the past 30 years.
