Repairs & remodellingOur story
Aharoni Jewellery began the day after Eytan and Nurit married. They spent their wedding money on a jeweller’s bench and a stall at a makers’ market half a world away. They then spent seven years in South Africa, where they started collecting tourmalines, tanzanites and tsavorites, keeping each stone for a future piece. The family moved to Sydney in 1998 and to Canberra in 2002. It is still a family business, run by Eytan, Nurit and their son Daniel, who trained at the GIA Carlsbad campus in California.
Eytan and Nurit have 37 years of experience. Eytan is a designer and master jeweller, with a deep knowledge of gemstones and of metalwork, from working the metal to setting the stone. Nurit is a designer with an eye for bringing together colour, shape and proportion in beautiful and unexpected ways. Daniel is a GIA certified gemologist, also trained in CAD design, who can take your initial concept and give you a clear vision of what your piece will look like.

Signature works

The indicolite tourmaline sail that became the studio’s signature, drew a personal letter from the Utzon family, and brought a request from the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
The story
The first clock ever made in Mokume Gane: an Aharoni Jewellery world first, four hundred years after the technique was born.
